MENTAL ILLNESS/DISORDER
I welcome you back to this space😁😘
Let us more shed light on the meaning of disorder before we discuss about today's matter.
A disorder is a disturbance of the normal physical, mental and social wellbeing of the mind and body which may cause a person to change in the way they perceives, thinks and perceive.
Though people use both mental illness and mental disorder interchangeably because both point at the same end .The different between the two is the origin of the condition and from last week post we can see that mental health and mental illness/disorder are not the same but when one(mental health) is tampered with,it will surely leads to another(mental illness)
Mental illness is an ongoing symptoms or group of symptoms that can affect a person, perception, thinking, mood or behavior.
From the definition above and to be specific, the clustering of different types of symptoms, they all gather to become a disorder that a person is at risk for which makes that individual to be of serious danger to themselves or other's health
Sometimes, people experience emotional and physical changes and they begin to think if they are mentally alright.Having a checklist for improving one's mental health is important but also learning about the mental disorders that could result from more than two different symptoms is also Paramount.
We will be listing the common mental disorders that people do have but doesn't have adequate knowledge about it. The list below are not limited to they types that exist and each.
📌Mood disorders e.g depression
