If someone is having a mental health issue, they are less likely to get help because of that stigma which leads to shame But in this century we are,there’s nothing to be ashamed of because the chemical and hormones that goes around  the brain is not anybody's fault but the knowledge of what can cause it not to work or diminished it function need to be known .Hence,there is need for knowing the importance of mental health. A disorder is a disturbance of the normal physical,mental and social wellbeing of the mind and body which may cause a person to change in the way they  perceives,thinks and perceive.   Let us start with a scenario of a young child who developed  a moderate depression because her basic needs was not properly met. This is due to the financial incapacity of her parent because of the current socioeconomic factors. On the part of the parent,being responsible for the care of the child is their utmost priority but what can be done when there is unemployment and even the one that is available, the income per capital labour is very low? This young child,because of the community ninculcate values and expectations chose to keep up with demands as not to get her parent disappointed especially in her academics. Mental health, defined by the World Health Organization (WHO), is "a state of well-being in which the individual realizes his or her own abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to his or her community" It also includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act.
